The part about mummy having to use the loo after a struggle about the loo has gone on a little too long? It really resonated with my post-birth bladder.
That brings back memories of when my daughter was a toddler. Great stuff, especially amazing for something written in real time like that. I enjoyed it.
wait til it starts yelling "six seven" at random times, obsessively showing you dumb videos on its phone til you think you will die, eating everything in the house, mocking your writing on substack... lol. I really do love them though.
oh my heart. the joke-teling phase really is delightful. actually every stage brings delightful elements. I do rather love Gen Z's way of talking. I find them endlessly entertaining, the way they describe the world!

😂 another relatable parenting moment

Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Writing while parenting can be a challenge sometimes! 😂
Yup, soooo relatable! Brought back so many memories... lol. Teenagers are just more sassy.
🫣 oh dear. I get enough sass from a three year old 😂

My son is currently trying to tell jokes, which is basically saying something non-sensical and then falling over laughing.
The rest of your description might describe my husband… 😂

My kids aren’t toddlers anymore but there is still a fair amount of bribery happening in my house. 🤣
Honestly, I bribe myself a lot with coffee and baked goods to make myself do stuff too 😂
I had flashbacks of negotiating with my kid 20 years ago. lol.
Toddler stubbornness/airheaded-ness is a universal experience 😂
This is great! Negotiating with a toddler is always fun.
‘Fun’ may be debatable 😂
Ok, fun for the toddler 😂
